Congratulations to Paul Turner for taking out the 2018/9 Club Championship.
Paul shot every round of the competition with very consistent scoring, resulting in high placings each round based on the Archery Australia handicap system.
Congratulation also to Dave Mills and Nathan Moss who finished equal second in the competition.
It was especially pleasing to see Nathan attain second place in only his first year of archery, especially so as he was only able to compete in five of the eleven rounds, showing how good his results were overall.
Brendan McGuire finished in fourth position, followed by Sarah Moss and Rae Bates who are both also newcomers to our sport.
The competition was conducted over shoots at the club on the last Saturday of each month, with different rounds able to be shot, provided all rounds were of the equal number of arrows.
Rounds nominated were varied each month, including 90 and 72 arrow Target rounds, and also Indoor rounds although shot outdoors. The club Championship will again be conducted for 2019/20, commencing with the first round to be shot on 30 August 2019.
